Title: Meta-Analysis of Experimental DATA
Presented by: Dr. Kathy Hanford
ABSTRACT:
Meta-analysis is the statistical analysis of a large collection of analysis results from individual studies for the purpose of integrating the findings. It allows for a systematic combination of similar studies, that overcome the limits of the size or scope of individual studies and allows researchers to obtain more reliable information about treatment effect. This seminar will cover the steps for performing a meta-analysis, some of the assumptions required, how to test for these assumptions and an example of using meta-analysis
