Julie is a graduate teaching assistant pursuing her PhD. Her research interests include educational analytics and design of research studies. Her dissertation research focuses on development of value added modeling for small school systems. She serves as a TA mentor and teaches a variety of classes: Introduction to Statistics, Teaching Assistant Prep Class, and Masters classes for Middle School and High School Teachers. Julie earned a BS in Mathematics and Spanish at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska and a MS in Statistics at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. In her free time, Julie loves to travel. She lived in Buenos Aires, traveled through South America, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Statistics has also taken her to a lot of places, including Montreal, Seattle, San Diego, and New Orleans.
