Dr. Meza is a Senior Associate Dean of the College of Public Health and the Chair and Professor of the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha. Her methodological research focuses on statistical issues related to small-area estimation. These methods have been extended to disease mapping applications and combining national and state data to estimate the probability of a rare event.
