An Introduction to
Generalized Linear Mixed Models
|
Description
Students will be introduced to the analysis and interpretation of generalized linear mixed models. While the students will be introduced to the underlying statistical foundations the focus will be on the analysis and interpretation. Most of the analysis will be done using ASREML. Students in the course should be familiar with linear mixed models.
Topics:
- Review of Linear Mixed Models
- Introduction to ASREML
- Statistical foundations of Generalized Linear Models
- Analysis of Binary Data
- Logit and Probit Models
- Analysis of Count Data
- Threshold/Linear Models
- Survival Analysis
- MCMC and GLMM: An Introduction
