Below are links to a number of websites that
have statistics job postings.
Many students looking for a job go to the Joint Statistical Meetings
in early August each year. There are many, many employers there
interviewing new graduates and other people looking for a job change.
This is a GREAT way to find a job. Go to the American Statistical
Association's website at www.amstat.org
and look in their meetings section for the
Joint
Statistical Meetings.
Usually, there is a "placement" link for the meetings which gives more
information.
If you are looking for a job in academia, check out Elizabeth
Stasny's paper entitled "How to Get a Job in Academics" in the first
issue of
American Statistician in 2001. The UNL library has this paper
available through JSTOR.
