This web page gives programs and other information for the paper: 

Tebbs, J. M. and Bilder, C. R. (2004).  Confidence interval procedures for the probability of disease transmission in multiple-vector-transfer designs.  Journal of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Statistics  9(1), 75-90.

All of these programs work in R 1.7.  The Ornaghi et al. (1999) example program works in S-Plus 6.1 without modification.  The exact coverage program works in S-Plus 6.1 except for the Trellis plot section.  Please note that R will run the exact coverage program for the n=40 and s=10 example in Section 5 in approximately 5 1/2 minutes, but S-Plus runs the program in approximately 1 1/2 hours!  These times are for a 1.13GHZ and 512MB memory computer with Windows 2000.

• exact_coverage_revised_no_restrict6.R  - Finds the exact coverage probabilities, mean lengths, MAD_1-a, and P_1-a for each confidence interval method
• Ornaghi_example_revised5.R - Calculates the confidence intervals for the example from Ornaghi et al. (Maydica, 1999)
