Survey Research

Survey research is the science of planning, collecting, analyzing and interpreting information from people using personal interviews and mail, telephone and more recently, web-based questionnaires. Survey research is a major area of strength in the Department of Statistics with several faculty being heavily involved in various types of research in this area. The department also has a close collaboration with the Survey Research and Methodology program at UNL and a strong affiliation with the Gallup Center for Survey Statistics.
