Intro to SAS Workshops

Monday, January 28th and Tuesday, January 29th.
6:00-8:30 pm  Hardin Hall North room 49.
The cost is $15 per session or $25 for both sessions.
Registrations should be received by Friday, January 25th.

I.    An Introduction to SAS:  SAS Basics for Windows Users.
        This course will familiarize you with SAS for PC's version 9.1.  It will introduce you to the basic concepts of the SAS system necessary for reading, manipulating, listing, and analyzing your data using SAS statements in the DATA and PROC steps of SAS system.  No previous experience with SAS is required.  However, basic keyboarding skills are recommended.

Monday, January 28th, 6:00-8:30 pm in Rm 49. Hardin Hall North.  (Building is the north wing of Hardin tower on 33rd and Holdrege )

II.   Beyond SAS Basics: Techniques for the Intermediate Level SAS User.
        This course is designed for persons who have advanced beyond the level of the novice user.  Topics covered include: types of input statements, use of assignment statements and function, use of IF-THEN/ELSE statements, arrays, reading data from external files, use of permanent SAS data sets, and displaying information about SAS data sets.  Introduction to SAS or previous experience with SAS is required.
